Moving Objects

A moving object will keep moving at the same speed and in the same direction unless acted on by some force.  ...Newton's first law

This truck was carrying of oxygen cylinders. The driver braked to stop at an intersection. The truck stopped ... but the cylinders kept on moving. When transporting equipment, make sure they are properly loaded and secured so they don't become missiles if you have to rapidly decelerate. The driver is also subject to the same law of inertia that propelled these O2 cylinders through the windshield. If your car comes to an instant stop because of a collision, you will keep going unless something is holding you back. Buckle up.
